Paris, January 19th 2012 - PolySpot, the leaders in business search engine innovation and information management platforms, would like to announce the appointment of Michel Fritz to the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO). Armed with twenty years of experience working with prominent industry software, his chief objective will be to widen PolySpot's client base in different markets.
Michel Fritz began his career in the sales division of Gestetner in 1993. He followed that path for five years with the developer PTC before, in 2000, he founded A La Lucarne de L’immobilier, a French software development company dedicated to real estate professionals, allowing them to offer virtual tours of properties. In 2007, he joined Talend, one of the world's most important figures in open source, as their Sales Director. Three years later he became the head of Pentaho France before finally joining PolySpot as Chief Operating Officer at the end of 2011.
"A revolution is sweeping through the legacy business search engine vendors. The market has matured. SMEs now recognize that information management is a key factor in the success of their businesses. In this market, where the penetration rate is still extremely low, the agile, flexible, and effective PolySpot infrastructure is ready to support these businesses in their data governance," announced Michel Fritz.
"Michel is bringing proven experience in aggressive business growth strategies to PolySpot, experience which he has amply demonstrated at Talend and Pentaho. Michel is an expert with a profound knowledge of IT startups. After a few weeks of working together, I am extremely enthusiastic about the successes our collaboration has already produced," said Gilles André, CEO of PolySpot.
