PolySpot Integrates Dropbox
Posted on June 5, 2012 by Bastien DANTAND
We’re happy to add a new connector to our list: the Dropbox connector.
Dropbox is a service allowing anyone to carry around documents, photos and videos. This means that any file saved in your cloud will automatically be saved on all your devices and online. Dropbox has paved the way for many services like Google Drive and Microsoft SkyDrive.
Some of us at PolySpot were using Dropbox, but like most users, we were only using it for our personal needs. The PolySpot solution, integrating Dropbox from now, makes our data available, guaranteeing a secure search across contents, as well as enjoying all the features offered by PolySpot, including the smart search and browsing functions: relevance, preview, and the facet-based navigation.
PolySpot also allows you to index the content of documents in your Dropbox, while the standard search is only based on the name of your documents.
The Dropbox connector joins the list of PolySpot connectors improving the capacity of our infrastructure to facilitate access to information regardless of source or format.
